Shankar Kasynathan

Professional Coach/Counsellor

Shankar works at the intersection of personal transformation and social change. He supports people to reconnect with who they are, reflect honestly on where they’re at, and take practical steps toward the life or leadership they want to build. His approach is grounded, human, and hopeful; helping clients move beyond overwhelm or self-doubt into clarity, confidence, and meaningful action.

He has advised State and Territory Members of Parliament including Members of Cabinet, Australia’s Race Commissioner (anti racism education) and has consulted with the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation. He has also contributed to organisational change at Amnesty International,
Red Cross Australia, and the Victorian Multicultural Commission where he served as Commissioner.

Shankar has also been a sessional lecturer at UNSW, Charles Darwin University, Monash University, RMIT and Deakin University.
