Neuropsychology Intern
Samrutha completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Monash University in 2022. As a neuropsychology intern, Samrutha assists neuropsychologists within the clinic, receives supervised practice administering neuropsychological batteries and supports the admin team when required. In addition to her work around the clinic, she also assists Dr Judy Tang with projects such as HeartChat, the Multicultural Mental Health Advocates Collective and the APS Psychology and Cultures Interest Group.
She has previously worked within access and inclusion equipping children with swimming and water safety skills. She has also worked with children with ADHD and ASD as a research intern at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health. Samrutha currently works as an early intervention therapist. She has a strong passion for working with children and intends to work within paediatric neuropsychology and educational/developmental psychology.
