Anushka Phal

Anushka Phal is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, board-approved supervisor, and founder of Umeed Psychology. Since becoming fully registered in 2020, Anushka has worked across schools, private practice, and community settings, supporting neurodivergent and culturally diverse clients to thrive, not just survive.

Her approach blends warmth, curiosity, and a touch of creative flair to make therapy and assessment feel human, not clinical. Anushka is passionate about delivering ADHD and Autism assessments through a strengths-based lens, and she offers therapy that is LGBTQIA+ Friendly, neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and deeply culturally responsive.

When she’s not working with clients, Anushka supervises early-career psychologists, runs group programs, and delivers workshops across Australia on topics like cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and neurodiversity.
