Healthier workplaces, led by people who understand the brain

Workshops, training and leadership coaching for boards, executives and teams. Designed by a clinical neuropsychologist and company director, for Australian workplaces that now have a legal duty to manage psychosocial risk.

In person in Melbourne and Sydney, online Australia-wide, or at your workplace.

What you can book

  • Resilience by Design workshop for every brain in your organisation
  • Understanding and managing moral injury for high-stakes workforces
  • Mental Health First Aid for directors and governance leaders, delivered by Dr Judy Tang OAM, GAICD
  • Leadership coaching and culture training for executives and directors
  • Psychological safety workshops to meet Victoria's psychosocial hazard rules
Why now

Mental health at work is now a governance question

Every Australian state and territory now expects employers to manage psychosocial hazards the same way they manage physical ones. Victoria's regulations started on 1 December 2025. Boards and executives are being asked to show the evidence.

A psychological injury claim keeps someone off work around four times longer than the typical claim, and costs around four times more.

Our programs

Five ways we can help your workplace

Each program is shaped to your sector and your people. You leave with tools you keep using, not a folder of slides.

Workshop

Resilience by Design

Practical mental resilience for every brain in your organisation. A full day that treats pressure as something you can design for, with the brain science and the legal duties side by side.

  • Map your organisation's psychosocial hazards on a heat map you keep
  • Run an inclusive resilience audit: culture, neurodivergence, LGBTIQA+, ageing
  • Practise the AIR conversation model in small groups
  • Write a 90-day plan, with check-ins at day 30, 60 and 90

Workshop

Understanding and managing moral injury

Moral injury is the deep distress people feel when they have to do, see or fail to stop something that goes against their values. It is common in health, aged care, disability, emergency services, law and community work. It is often mistaken for burnout, and treated the wrong way.

  • Tell moral injury apart from burnout and trauma, in plain words
  • Spot the early signs in yourself and your team
  • Learn what leaders can change so people are not put in impossible positions
  • Build a support pathway for your organisation

Workshop

Psychological safety: the brain at work

Victoria's Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations started on 1 December 2025. Employers must now find psychosocial hazards and control the risks. This interactive workshop links the law to the brain science of threat and safety, so leaders know what to change, not just what to say.

  • Understand your duties under the new regulations, in plain words
  • Learn how ongoing threat at work affects attention, memory and decisions
  • Spot hazards such as high job demands, low job control, poor support, bullying and discrimination
  • Use the hierarchy of control: change the work first, because training alone is only allowed when nothing else is reasonably practicable
  • Leave with a draft prevention plan to take to your leadership team

Training

Mental Health First Aid for directors and governance leaders

The Mental Health First Aid course, delivered by Dr Judy Tang OAM, GAICD, with an added governance layer. Built for company directors, board members, committee chairs and senior executives, including graduates of the AICD Company Directors Course. Learn how to respond to a colleague who is unwell, and what psychosocial risk means for your oversight and due diligence as a director.

  • Recognise the signs of common mental health problems and crises
  • Have the first conversation with confidence, including with a CEO or a fellow director
  • Understand psychosocial risk as part of a director's work health and safety duties
  • Know what to ask management, and what good mental health reporting to the board looks like
  • Digital certificate of completion, with a pathway to MHFA accreditation

Coaching and training

Leadership coaching and culture training

One-to-one coaching for executives and directors, and leadership training for teams. The focus is on the culture you build: one where people speak up early, difference is an asset, and decisions under pressure stay sound.

  • Leading a culture where people speak up before things break
  • Leading diverse, multicultural and neurodivergent teams well
  • Decision-making and self-management under pressure
  • Governing wellbeing at board level: what to ask, what to measure

Three steps from first call to follow-up

1

Tell us about your workplace

A 30-minute call with Judy or Cecilia. We ask about your sector, your people and what is keeping you up at night. No sales pitch.

2

We shape the program to you

Scenarios come from your world, not a generic deck. We adjust for your industry, your workforce mix and your governance setting.

3

Deliver, then follow through

We run the program at your site, at one of our clinics, or online. Then we check in at day 30, 60 and 90 so the plans actually get used.

  • Boards and executive teams who need to show they are managing psychosocial risk
  • Health, aged care and disability providers where moral injury and burnout are daily risks
  • Legal, emergency and community services working with trauma and difficult decisions

Things people ask us

Can you run this at our office?

Yes. We deliver at your workplace, at our Preston clinic in Melbourne, at our Sydney partner site, or online. For online delivery we usually split a full day into two half-days.

How many people can attend?

Workshops work best with 12 to 30 people, so everyone gets to practise. Mental Health First Aid follows the group size rules set by Mental Health First Aid Australia. Leadership coaching is one-to-one or in small groups of up to six.

Is this counselling or therapy?

No. These are education and skills programs. Nobody is asked to share anything personal. If someone needs support during or after a session, we will help connect them to the right service, including our own clinicians if that suits.

Do you adapt for multicultural and neurodivergent teams?

Yes, and this is where we started. Invictus Health was built around culturally responsive and neuroaffirming care. Every program includes how the same workplace lands differently for different brains and backgrounds.

Can you help us with the legal side of psychosocial risk?

We explain what the regulations expect in plain language and help you build the evidence, such as a hazard map and a written plan. We are not lawyers, and we will say so when a question needs legal advice.

多少錢?

Pricing depends on the program, group size and location. Ask for a proposal and we will send a clear quote within a few business days.
