We bring psychologists and counsellors to your conference or event, so delegates, speakers, volunteers and staff have somewhere safe to turn. We also care for research participants and researchers when a study covers painful topics such as sexual assault.
The short version:
Events we have supported include the Women Deliver 2026 Conference in Narrm (Melbourne), where we provided the Mental Health and Wellbeing Space, and the National Social and Emotional Wellbeing Forum.
If you are in danger, call 000. For 24-hour support after sexual assault or family violence, call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732. For crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
We specialise in events and research. Choose one service or combine them, and we shape the plan around your people, your topics and your timeline.

Short, clear answers to common questions.
It is a calm, private room at the venue where people can take a break or talk with a psychologist or counsellor. It helps when sessions cover distressing topics, such as violence, trauma, health or human rights.
Yes. What people share stays confidential, within the usual legal limits, such as a serious risk to someone’s safety. Organisers receive a summary with no names or identifying details.
No. Many providers offer ongoing Employee Assistance Programs. We focus on events and research. For your event, we provide EAP-style support: confidential, short-term counselling for delegates, speakers, volunteers and staff while the event runs, and we link people to ongoing support afterwards.
Safeguarding means taking steps to protect people from harm, especially people who may be more at risk. At an event or in a study, we help you plan what to do if someone becomes very distressed, tells us they have been harmed, or is at risk. We agree clear steps and referral pathways with you before the day. Your organisation keeps its own safeguarding policy and legal duties, and we work within them.
Talking about painful experiences, such as sexual assault, can bring up strong feelings, sometimes days later. Australia’s National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research asks researchers to reduce the risk of harm, including distress. Aftercare gives participants a safe place to turn.
Yes. Hearing trauma stories again and again can affect researchers, transcribers and event staff. This is called vicarious trauma. We offer debriefing and supervision to help your team stay well.
